Over 45 million online photos and videos of children being sexually abused were reported by tech companies in 2018—more than double what was found the previous year.

Exploited is a four-part investigative series tracing criminal patterns in the dark corners of the web, following the efforts being made to combat the issue and connecting with survivors whose lives are forever changed by the permanent online presence of their trauma.
